Is Reginae Carter really supposed to care what her daddy thinks? Because honey, that’s exactly what some pressed critics are threatening to do!

Listen, we’ve watched Reginae grow from an OMG Girlz cutie to a full-fledged independent woman living her best life, and apparently some bitter souls can’t handle it. After a spicy pole dancing video surfaced online, trolls came crawling out from under their rocks with the ultimate threat: “We’re telling Lil Wayne!” Girl, bye! As if Reginae is still sneaking out past curfew. She’s a grown woman making grown woman decisions, and the audacity of these critics acting like they’re about to run and tattle to Weezy is absolutely HILARIOUS.

But here’s where it gets good – Reginae absolutely checked these wannabe snitches for filth. She didn’t hold back, reminding everyone that her personal choices are exactly that: PERSONAL. The Carter princess made it crystal clear that she’s not living her life for approval from the peanut gallery, and certainly not looking over her shoulder worrying about who’s gonna rat her out to her famous father. The confidence? We’re obsessed.

This isn’t the first time Reginae has had to defend herself against pearl-clutching keyboard warriors. Ever since she stepped into the reality TV world and became more vocal about her dating life and career moves, haters have been lurking. But unlike some celebrities who cave to pressure, Reginae has consistently shown she’s got that Carter DNA – meaning she speaks her truth and doesn’t apologize for living.

What makes this whole situation even more ridiculous is that grown adults are actually trying to use “telling her daddy” as some kind of threat. Newsflash: Lil Wayne is a legendary rapper who’s been in this industry for decades. He knows his daughter is an adult. Toya Wright, her mother, has always encouraged Reginae to be independent and authentic. So these threat-making trolls are really out here looking foolish.

The real tea? Reginae’s response has honestly won the internet. Fans are applauding her for standing up to the nonsense and refusing to be shamed by people who clearly have nothing better to do than police her body and her choices. It’s giving main character energy, and we’re here for every second of it.

What do you think? A) Reginae was right to clap back at the haters B) She should’ve ignored them completely
