Did the writers just pull the ultimate plot twist on us, or are we seriously supposed to believe that character is really gone for good?

The season 2 premiere of Marshals delivered more drama than a Kardashian family dinner, answering burning questions about possible cast exits before dropping the mother of all shocking onscreen deaths. Picking up months after the season 1 finale, the CBS series returned on Sunday, October 4, with Kayce (Luke Grimes) attempting to save his son from Tom Weaver (Chris) – but nobody saw THAT cliffhanger coming!

Fans are absolutely losing their minds on social media, with #SaveOurShow trending harder than #CancelNetflix. Some viewers are calling it the best episode yet, while others are demanding explanations faster than you can say ‘plot armor.’ The death scene was so unexpected that even the most seasoned drama watchers are reaching for their tissues and their keyboards simultaneously.

We’re still processing this bombshell revelation and wondering if the remaining cast members are checking their contracts hourly. Will this shocking exit change the entire trajectory of the show? Are the writers setting up for an even bigger twist later this season? One thing’s for sure – Marshals just proved that no character is safe, and neither are our emotions.

What do you think? A) This was the best plot twist ever B) They killed off the wrong character
