What is it with some people and their complete inability to handle parenting without causing absolute chaos? Because honestly, the story we’re about to spill is absolutely UNHINGED.

Hold onto your designer handbags, because Meliza Campos-Sanchez from Miami just gave us the most disturbing headline of the week. This mother of two was arrested on Monday, August 17th, after allegedly pouring scalding hot, melted candle wax directly onto her daughters’ bodies. Yes, you read that correctly. HOT WAX. ON CHILDREN. And if that wasn’t enough to make your jaw DROP, she also set a massive fire inside her home—and get this, she literally FILMED THE WHOLE THING. Like, ma’am, what were you thinking?

Campos-Sanchez is now facing some seriously hefty charges: first-degree arson, child abuse, AND two counts of child neglect. The fact that she documented this nightmare on camera is absolutely baffling. Did she think this was some kind of viral moment? Because the only thing going viral here is our collective disgust and concern for those poor children.

The internet has absolutely ERUPTED over this story, and honestly, the reactions are everywhere. Parents are shaking their heads in disbelief, child welfare advocates are demanding answers, and social media is practically on fire with outrage. Many are questioning how someone could be so reckless with innocent lives while others are demanding maximum consequences for her actions. The comments sections are BRUTAL, and rightfully so.

This situation represents everything that’s wrong when parental responsibility goes completely off the rails. Those two young girls didn’t ask to be born to someone so clearly unstable and dangerous. They deserve safety, love, and actual care—not scalding wax and house fires. It’s heartbreaking and infuriating all at once.

Our hearts absolutely go out to those children, and we’re hoping they receive all the support and care they need moving forward. As for Campos-Sanchez, justice needs to be served swiftly and seriously.

What do you think? A) She deserves the maximum sentence allowed by law B) We need to understand her mental state before sentencing
