Okay, bestie, real talk: After decades of Ghostface terrorizing the fictional town of Woodsboro, we’re asking the question that’s been on EVERYONE’s lips—who actually survived this slasher nightmare and who got absolutely MURDERED on screen?

Listen, honey, some of these A-list icons have been dodging that killer’s knife like they’re performing Olympic-level gymnastics. We’re talking Neve Campbell, who basically owns the “Final Girl” crown and has made a CAREER out of running from psychopaths in a tank top. The woman is literally untouchable—Ghostface could NEVER. Then there’s David Arquette, who somehow managed to go full cop and protagonist without catching a fatal stab wound. Iconic behavior, truly.

But let’s spill the REAL tea: some of our faves were NOT so lucky. The body count in these films is absolutely ASTRONOMICAL, and frankly, some of the deaths were so brutal we’re still recovering emotionally. Courtney Cox’s character Gale Weathers? Girl has been through the WRINGER but keeps coming back for more. That’s either dedication or a serious addiction to adrenaline rushes—we’re not sure which.

The franchise has literally been the graveyard for Hollywood’s hottest talent over the years. Every time a new Scream drops, we’re literally on the edge of our seats wondering if our faves are getting the axe—literally. The directors have shown ZERO mercy when it comes to who lives and who becomes part of the Ghostface highlights reel.

What makes this franchise absolutely genius is that NOBODY is safe. A-listers, up-and-comers, legacy actors—Ghostface doesn’t discriminate, and honestly? That’s terrifying AND thrilling. Fans have been OBSESSED with the survival rate since the first film dropped, and the tension never gets old.

The chemistry between the survivors is everything, though. When these actors return for sequels, the reunion energy is IMMACULATE. There’s definitely something special about a cast that’s literally bonded through shared trauma—fictional or otherwise.

So grab your popcorn and settle this debate once and for all. After all these films, who’s your ultimate Scream survivor? The one who should get the “I Survived Ghostface” medal?

What do you think? A) Neve Campbell is the ULTIMATE final girl who deserves a lifetime achievement award B) The entire OG cast deserves medals for making it through this franchise alive-ish
