Did this girl really just call prison BORING? Mackenzie Shirilla, the 21-year-old serving TWO concurrent sentences of 15 years to life for double murder, is apparently suffering from some serious cabin fever behind bars. Girl, that’s literally the point!

According to a jail audio call obtained by TMZ on Monday, June 1, the convicted murderer was caught complaining to her mother, Natalie Shirilla, about her lack of entertainment options while locked up. Yes, you read that right. While most of us are binge-watching Netflix and ordering takeout, Mackenzie is whining about not having enough activities to keep her occupied during her literal life sentence. The entitlement is REAL, honey.

During the phone call, Mackenzie expressed frustration about her downtime and apparently couldn’t fathom the concept that prison isn’t supposed to be Club Med. Hello? You murdered TWO people and got a life sentence – what exactly were you expecting? A spa day and unlimited mimosas?

This is giving major “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” energy. Mackenzie was convicted in connection with a tragic incident, and now she’s worried about her boredom levels? The audacity of some people is absolutely breathtaking. Meanwhile, the families of her victims are still grieving, and she’s complaining about not having enough to do during her mandatory prison time.

Social media is absolutely LOSING IT over these audio recordings. Fans are dragging Mackenzie across every platform, pointing out the obvious disconnect between her crimes and her entitled attitude. Comments are flooded with people saying things like “Maybe try reflecting on your actions?” and “The victims don’t get to complain about anything ever again.” Ouch. But also… fair point?

The reality is harsh but necessary: prison is punishment, not vacation. If Mackenzie finds it boring, perhaps that’s exactly what she deserves. Maybe instead of complaining to mommy about needing more activities, she should be using this time to reflect on the fact that she’s serving a sentence of 15 years to LIFE for taking two lives. Just a thought.

What do you think? A) Mackenzie deserves every boring minute of her sentence, or B) Even prisoners deserve some entertainment options to maintain mental health?
