Did Keri Hilson just accidentally throw shade at Yung Miami, or are we all reading way too much into a cryptic tweet? Girl, the drama is REAL and we’re living for it.

Our girl Keri decided to hop on Twitter and post about how ‘music can harm,’ and honey, the internet absolutely SPIRALED into speculation mode faster than you can say ‘receipts.’ Everyone and their mama thought she was coming for Yung Miami’s latest single ‘Spend Dat,’ but hold up—Keri is NOT having it. She’s now backtracking harder than a backup dancer and insisting that her vague tweet had absolutely NOTHING to do with the City Girls’ rapper’s track. Sure, Jan. We’ll take your word for it, sis.

The timing though? IMPECCABLE. Yung Miami’s ‘Spend Dat’ has already been under fire from some folks who think the song’s message is problematic, and when Keri’s cryptic tweet hit the timeline, Twitter collectively lost its MIND. People were connecting dots like they were solving a murder mystery on Law & Order: SVU. LisaRaye and Trick Daddy already chimed in with their two cents about the song, and now Keri’s trying to tell us she was talking about something—or someone—else entirely.

But here’s the tea that’s piping hot: whether Keri meant it or not, the fact that she had to come out and defend herself is absolutely HILARIOUS. The internet has spoken, and they’re convinced there was major shade being thrown. Even her denial is being dissected frame-by-frame like it’s the Zapruder film. Can’t a girl post a generalized statement without the entire celebrity world assuming it’s personal?

Social media is DIVIDED, darling. Some folks are Team Keri and believe she’s being genuine, while others are Team ‘Girl, Please’ and think she’s doing damage control. The comments section is basically a courthouse at this point, with everyone serving as judge, jury, and executioner.

What do you think? A) Keri was totally talking about ‘Spend Dat’ and is lying through her teeth B) Keri’s tweet was genuinely about something else and we’re all being dramatic.
