Did Amanda Frances bite off more than she could chew with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, or did the show simply not deserve her fabulous presence?

Well, honey, we have our answer. Amanda Frances, 40, just confirmed she’s officially ghosting Beverly Hills faster than you can say “cut, print, we’re done here.” Via an Instagram post on Wednesday, August 5, the entrepreneur dropped the mic and walked away from the Real Housewives franchise after just ONE measly season. Talk about a reality TV speed run!

“My time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is complete,” Frances wrote, before getting all philosophical about the whole thing. She described joining the show as “one of the boldest, wildest, most clarifying things” she’s ever done. Translation: Girl got a reality check faster than a production assistant can yell “rolling.”

Let’s be real, darling—one season is NOT the flex Amanda probably thought it would be when she signed that contract. While some housewives use their inaugural season to build momentum, Amanda apparently used hers to realize this glittery nightmare wasn’t for her. We’re living for the self-awareness, but also… yikes.

The timing is interesting, too. This announcement comes right as Bravo is gearing up for season 16, which means Amanda decided to dip before things got REALLY messy. Smart move? Or cowardly retreat? The jury’s still out, sweetie.

Fans are absolutely divided on this one. Some are applauding her for knowing when to quit while she’s ahead (or at least not totally behind), while others are convinced the Beverly Hills pressure just proved too intense for a newcomer. The comments section has been absolutely VOLCANIC with takes ranging from “I respect the self-care” to “She couldn’t handle the heat.”

One thing’s for certain: Amanda’s exit proves that not everyone is cut out for the housewife life. Those diamonds aren’t for the faint of heart, and apparently, they weren’t for Amanda either. Will we see her back for a guest appearance? Will she spill ALL the behind-the-scenes tea in a tell-all interview? Only time will tell, but something tells us this isn’t the last we’ll hear from Ms. Frances.

What do you think? A) Amanda made the right call knowing when to walk away B) She couldn’t handle the RHOBH pressure and gave up
