Is Sadie Sink about to become the MCU’s next scene-stealing queen? Because honey, the internet is BUZZING and we are here for it.
After months of keeping us in the dark like we’re living in some sort of spell-induced amnesia (too soon?), Marvel finally revealed that our beloved Stranger Things icon Sadie Sink is playing a pivotal new character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The film, which absolutely dominated the box office when it dropped on Friday, July 31st, picks up four years after Dr. Stephen Strange’s reality-bending spell made the entire world forget that Peter Parker even exists. Talk about a breakup worse than any celebrity split we’ve covered.
So there Peter is, our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, anonymously protecting New York City while basically being a ghost to literally everyone he knows. Dramatic? Absolutely. And that’s where Sadie swoops in to save the day. While Marvel has been playing their cards close to the chest, sources are suggesting that Sadie’s character is instrumental in helping Peter navigate this whole “nobody remembers who I am” situation. Is she a love interest? A new sidekick? A mystical being sent to help him? The SUSPENSE is killing us, and frankly, we’re obsessed.
